My Grandmother was an artist who painted birds in miniature, after she gave me her Winsor and Newton water colour set my art journey began.
The biggest influence however was Raymond Harris Ching, I was fascinated by the realism and meticulous detail in his beautiful paintings.

I am a manufacturing Jeweller by trade and once owned ‘Inspiration Jewellery’ a jeweller’s gallery and workshop in Martinborough.
Painting became very secondary as I concentrated on my business, it’s only in the last few years that I have picked up my paint brushes again.

I paint in watercolour and high quality open acrylic which has a much slower drying time, this enables more time to work with the paint.

I am currently exploring landscape painting in open acrylic embellished with 23.75ct rose gold and 24ct pure gold leaf.
