Justine Turnbull is a Wairarapa based artist and educator. With a BFA in ceramics, and an MFA in painting, she has alternated between making her own work, and mentoring/tutoring other artists.  Justine merges Classical and contemporary processes, drawing on myth as a tool to explore the existential questions. Through her work, she aims to create a sense of turbulence that echoes entropic cycles, and to celebrate the beauty of paint as a material.
