SANDI MADDOX

Sandi works from her South Wairarapa studio surrounded by views of the Rimutaka ranges. The Big skies and ever changing weather are a continual source of inspiration.

The years studying this landscape have brought about a deep emotional connection to the land. The works are created in seasonal series where the colour palette links the paintings and expresses the 'feeling' of place.

Sandi is a mixed media artist working intuitively layering paint, ink, collage and expressive mark making.

Sandi studied at UCOL and The Learning Connexion. She is a member of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Art, and a member of the Connected Artists Club.
