Quirky animals and colour is what inspires Janie the most these days and as she navigates this changing world. Colour and other worlds inspire her the most. Richard is influenced by his metalsmith training in Vancouver and has a depth of knowledge in metal and form and function.  Janie and richard are contemplating trees for this show and also the adornment of them with tree necklaces. 

“This land” they think needs more trees 

and they think trees really deserve celebration.

 Not only that but also to remember that this land is losing its precious creatures. So the pieces also play tribute to some of the many endangered species of this land.

Janie is also an art therapist and painter and lover of clay.
